The Delaware Lottery was established by act the the General Assembly on May 31, 1974. The first tickets, an instant lottery game went on sale in Oct. 1975. The Delaware lotto game was launched on April 23, 1983. The Delaware lottery became part of the MUSL authority beginning with Lotto America, a pre "Powerball" lotto game.
