Powerball is a multi-state lottery game operated by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). MUSL was founded in 1989, it launched the current 'power ball' game on april 22,1993. Today the Powerball Lottery is played in 31 member states. 70% to 80% of winning Powerball tickets are computer picks, a rate equal to the 70% to 80% of sales that are computer picks.
